Lost Jazz Shrines 2009
Celebrating Bradley's
Lost Jazz Shrines examines the history of Jazz in our city, featuring music from this city’s storied Jazz clubs, plus the artists, and their cultural descendants who created that rich history. This year we will revisit the legendary club, Bradley’s. Located at 70 University Place, at the corner of E. 11th Street in the Village, Bradley’s was named for its owner, Bradley Cunningham. The distinctively warm and woody L- shaped room was a venue for mainstream jazz and bebop throughout the 70s and 80s and up until its 1996 closing. |
